Getting error when i update free rising antivirus

Hey I want your expertise as I am in trouble trying to update free rising antivirus. I get this message “failed to download essential update files, Please try again later.”

Does anyone know why I am getting this error? Does it mean that it’s a free antivirus and it can't be updated?

Help please.

Getting error when i update free rising antivirus

Mr. Michael,

The software available on the internet is divided into three categories.

1. Freeware Software.
2. Beta Version
3. Registered Software

Free programs are just for trail basis. You can only check these programs but you are not allowed to update them.

Beta version programs are also for trial basis. But you are allowed to update these programs for some specific time period or trial period.

Registered programs are fully activated and allowed to be updated. These are also called paid software because we can get these programs after paying their price.

You have free version of antivirus. So you are not allowed to update.
