Hi people,

I started using my computer today, and I get an RGL error.

I don’t know what is causing this as I have not changed my computer in any way from yesterday and it was working fine.

Please see a screenshot for the error.

Anybody knows what is going on?

I need you help urgently.

Thanks in advance.

Hello Dear,

For fixing this type of problem, you can use a tool kit such as ‘Large Address Aware’.  Here you just need to increase your memory setting. Steps are:

1. Open the software

2. Drop  the application that causes error in this fixing application

3. Select the file

4. If you want to make the file large or small, there is an option. Named ‘switch large address aware’

5. Save your settings

6. After that, you can also remove the file from the list.

This process is not recommended for older applications before 2000

Thanks for having your time

I’m sorry but that error won’t appear by just using the computer. You will receive that error when playing a game but the error itself is not directly from the game but from the MOD the user is using. If you try to play a game and you used a MOD, check that the MOD you used is compatible with the version of the game you are playing.

Before downloading a MOD for a game, check that MOD’s system requirements or the target game’s version. I’ve seen lots of “RGL Error” and not a single one is pointing to a single game. It seems the error happens on any game when a MOD is used. If you are not using a MOD on your game but you receive the error, try to uninstall and reinstall the game.

Download the free version of Revo Uninstaller and install it. Once installed, start Revo Uninstaller then select your game among the applications and click “Uninstall”. Follow the normal uninstall process. When uninstall is complete, click “Scan” to scan your computer for any leftover files and delete everything it finds. This removes everything the program created on your computer.

When it is finished, close Revo Uninstaller then install your game back. See if this works. If this doesn’t work, try installing a patch from the game’s website if one is available. Also, try updating your video card’s driver.
