Hi,

First of all check your sound drivers if they are up to date or not. If it doesn't works then please do the following.

Click the start menu of windows and click run. Type DXDIAG and save the file as a text file on your desktop and send that file to the help center with your support ticket.

Sometimes this problem occurred due to 3D video card having not enough memory to support the game. Symmetry is very important between the video card and the sound card. Please do check this also.

Regards,

Hello Allan,

The error might not be your card driver, it could be the other application that you had switch to after using the Ubisoft sound effects. As what you have mentioned, it does not play when you switched application; I assume that it did play before switching to another application. In this case, try to check if the game/application that you’ve had switch into supports the Ubisoft sound effects, if it doesn’t, you have to run your game/application in default mode. And if you switch back to the previous game/application, the one that runs with Ubisoft sound effects, kindly go to the sound menu of that game/application and turn on the option relating to Ubisoft sound effects because your PC system is now running on default mode after switching to the other game/application.
