Could not find p4 exe installed in perforce directory

Hello People,

Yesterday morning I installed windows 7 64 bit version and tried installing perforce.

When I try to execute it after the installation it says that it cannot find the required file.

There are some issues with it can anyone please check into this?

Could not find p4 exe installed in perforce directory

Hi,

This error can be occurred if perforce is not compatible with 64 bit. Make sure that you installing 64 bit application.

This also can happen if you delete any important file accidentally. So first check it out that you are installing perforce version which are compatible with windows 7 64 bit and you didn’t miss any files.

Could not find p4 exe installed in perforce directory

This problem is pretty much common to almost any application where the main EXE file seems missing after launching the program. This can happen when the program is not compatible with the operating system or when you installed the wrong version of the application. To fix the problem, check that your computer meets the requirements. For client computers, Perforce supports Windows 7, Windows 8.x, and Windows 10.

It requires 1 GHz or faster processor, 1 GB RAM, 200 MB free space, 1280 × 720 screen resolution, and 48 Kbps internet connection. For servers, it supports Windows 8.x, Windows 10, and Windows Server 2008 or higher. If you have 64-bit Windows 7, check that you installed the 64-bit version of Perforce.
