 I have an idea to publish webmaster directory forum with advertising options. Please tell me how to find relevant information and softwares. To do this do I need any programming language knowledge?

Hello ,

1. To publish a forum , either you should code the whole forum according to your needs or you can go for ready made softwares .
2. There are several softwares available as open source as well as the paid ones.
3. You can use vBulletin , phpBB , myBB . These are the best scripts available for publishing a forum.
4. If you use any one of these , there is no need to do programming .
5. You need to have hosting and a database to use these softwares. Installing the software is easy . Just read the read me file when you download any of these softwares and you will be done with the installation.
6. After installing , you can customize your site using various themes available on the internet or create a custom template of your own.
7. You should make all the database connections required by your forum to the databases in your hosting account.
