Getting blue screen of death on laptop

Hi all, I have HP Elite Book 8440p and I use Windows 7 on it. The problem is that whenever I shutdown or restart my laptop, I get this thing which is apparently called the ‘blue screen of death’. Why am I getting this? How can I get rid of this thing? Is it dangerous for my laptop?

Getting blue screen of death on laptop

“BSOD” or “Blue Screen Death” is a problem or error in a computer that majority a cause of hardware and or system failure.

We can fix this by following the steps bellow.

1.       If you made any changes like added/removed any software or hardware please reinstall/uninstall.

2.       You can initiate system restore to default or to its known good point where it is still working properly.

3.       Update your drivers and software to make it sure you are up to date.

4.       Install any dependable and stable anti-virus.
