That can be resulting on reinstalling the Operating System after the reinstallation you can now have the fresh copy of the Operating Systems you want. The old files still there. Next step is to install the antivirus try to check the old files if you can find the virus if you can find few remove it from there. You can still retain your old files it's up to you, especially if the existing file is just a small. If you want to install a fresh copy i suggest to reformat your PC especially you want a nice Operating System like Windows 7. Repeat this steps just in case in future you encounter this problems again. Make sure next time you should keep remembering your password so that you would not repeat this steps. So that it will not a hassle in your part to reformat and install your computer again. Doing this steps is a time consuming on your part. And also in your part it takes time to recover all of your files, that's the reason why you should be careful on this.
