Hi, My HP Notebook is displaying internal battery error 601 on the screen as an alert. I want some info about it. Could you please give the remedy too?
The error 601 is related to the battery storage capacity. So, if the battery capacity is quite low, the alert message appears. The message will pertain for 15 seconds and disappears. The message implies that the battery capacity is decreased by 25 %. Perform test in System Diagnostics and calibrate it for best working. You can access the System Diagnostic Test from the Startup Menu. Press the F2 key and select the Battery option.
