Hi, I can help you with the above issue. Perform the following small steps:

• Press Windows logo key and R key simultaneously to open the Run window.
• In that window, type/copy Services.MSC in the open field which will open the services window.

• Look for avgidsagent.exe and right click on it to see whether it is running. If it is in the stop condition, then click on Start the process. The above steps will help you to resolve the issue.

That seems to be a permission-related error. If you are uninstalling AVG antivirus, make sure you are using an administrator account. If you are using a non-admin account, log out and log in back with your admin account and then uninstall AVG. If you don’t have an admin account, ask someone who has an admin account on the computer to remove AVG for you.

On the other hand, if you are using an admin account but you can’t seem to uninstall AVG, try reinstalling then uninstall with Revo Uninstaller. Download the free version of AVG Antivirus and install it. Click to restart the computer when you are prompted. After booting, download the free version of Revo Uninstaller and install it.

Once installed, start Revo then select AVG Antivirus among the applications and click “Uninstall”. Follow the normal uninstall process. When you are prompted to restart the computer, click to restart later. When uninstall is complete, click “Scan” to scan your computer for any leftover files and delete everything it finds. This removes everything the program created on your computer. When it is finished, exit Revo then restart the computer.
