Does anyone know how to round –trip from Final Cut Pro X ? Because when I do this following the standard steps this error appears. It doesn’t matter how long the clip is, the error is the same. Can anyone help me please ?

The replacement clip is too short.
Please select another clip in the media pool
Final cut pro x fails to recognize files
This type of error can caused by the "Force Conform" Follow the steps below to fix the issue.

Create a simple "Pillar box" mask.

Now go format > output > left/ right blanking.

Switch on "show title safe"

You can open it from the drop down menu, in the top of your screen.

Create a video file with safe area in black and white.

Then screen it on with layer node.

Now there will be no issue.
There is another way to solve the issue. Follow the steps below.

Set up the canvas according to the ratio.

Use the actual masking and blanking of davinci.
-
You can use simply 2.35 blanking.
