Hello,
I was executing a program when I got this error message stating that the file ‘OLEAUT32.DLL’ is out of date.Â
What’s this file, anyway? How can I get a newer version?Â
If it was corrupted, which directory should I look into?
Hope you can help.

File OLEAUT32.DLL is out of date error
Hi Lparsons,
OLEAUT32.DLL is Microsoft Object linking and Embedding DLL. It comes with the Windows Operating System. Â You can find it on the windows directory in your system. You can try to search it in you your local drive. If the dll you have is outdated, you can download it from the internet. Just be careful so won't get fake dll that might be harmful to your system. Once you have it, you can replace the one that is found in your system. Before you replace it, copy the original dll to another directory so you can restore it just in case the new one won't work.

I hope it helps.
