I have heard that Apple has released a new Podcasting app for iPad and iPhones.
Does anyone know the advanced features of this application which make it stand out of all other applications in the market?
That’s true. Apple has released a podcast app called “Podcasts”. It allows you to discover hundreds of thousands of downloadable podcasts of different types from politics to sports to hilarious interviews and more. It allows you to search by category as well as subscribe to your favorites so you can get free updates and see what’s on top of the charts.
It requires iOS 10 and up and supports iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. The app provides users playback controls as well as adjust the playback speed of your video and audio podcasts. It also features a Sleep Timer that allows a podcast to automatically stop playing while you are listening in bed. Users can stream podcast episodes or download them to your device for offline listening.
You can also use and ask Siri to play particular shows or maybe stations by name like for example “Play TEDTalks”. It also allows you to add new podcasts to your current queue without pausing the one you’re currently listening to.
You can do that by selecting either “Play Next” or “Add to Up Next” on the podcast you want to add to put it at the bottom of your queue. Download this app from Podcasts by Apple.
