Can anyone tell me the difference between the features of free forum software vs Commercial Forum software? I just got this doubt as I see many good Free forum software are available like MyBB but still people prefer commercial forum software ( for example vBulletin )? Your views will help me to select the right option.

I am going to make some points regarding Free Forum Software and Commercial Forum Software.
Free Forum Software :
Pros: 1. Â Free to use
      2. Most of them are Open Source .
      3. You can customize any open source and fix error and customize in your way
Cons: 1. You have to consider any error or bug you face
       2. Don't get any extra support that can a company do after sales.
      3. Not easy customize any open source code
Commercial Forum Software:
Pros: 1. Support from company
      2. Fewer errors.
      3. Special features which is exclusively offered by the company
      4. Quality Maintenance.
Cons: 1. Not Free, you have to pay
