The Pale Moon 12.2 is a customized version of Firefox 12. Is it the same procedure to integrate IDM with Firefox as in this software?

Fast browser Pale Moon 12.2

Internet Download Manager (IDM), is a powerful downloading tool with good speed which used to come as an Add-on with the Firefox browsers for versions below Firefox 9. But after that IDM tool used not to work properly on later and latest versions of Firefox. Due to this it became outdated. But the latest version of IDM i.e. Internet Download Manager 7.3.18.xpi add-on can be downloaded from the official site of IDM i.e. at http://www.internetdownloadmanager.com/idmmzcc/idmmzcc.xpi. Restart Firefox after downloading this Add-on and installing it. Without IDM, we do not get the Download Video button on the YouTube and other video sharing websites. But once IDM is installed, the options can be utilized.

Fast browser Pale Moon 12.2

I think I can compare Pale Moon with Maxthon Cloud Browser though Maxthon is not an open-source web browser but they are both based on a different browser. Maxthon, by the way, is Chrome-based web browser. Pale Moon is another brand of web browser designed for Microsoft Windows. It is an open-source Firefox-based browser that focuses on simplicity and effectiveness.

It is a web browser constructed directly from the source thoroughly picked optimizations and features to boost the browser’s speed and stability while keeping the compatibility with thousands of Mozilla Firefox extensions available. Though Pale Moon functions very close to Mozilla Firefox, it presents a separate set of features. Some of the carefully chosen features that are not on high demand or infrequently used have been disabled.

The features that were disabled have entirely no effect on the way the web browser displays the web page. These were all done just to boost the efficiency of the browser. If you want to try it, download and install Pale Moon 24.2.2 for 32-bit Microsoft Windows. If you are running 64-bit Microsoft Windows, download and install the 64-bit version from Pale Moon x64: 24.2.2.

If you want the portable version of Pale Moon, you can find it in the 32-bit download page. The installer is also available in ZIP versions but this is for advanced users since it requires unpacking of the installer from the downloaded ZIP file. Don’t download the ZIP version if you don’t know how to unpack the contents.
