Most of the time the face detectors work but there are times that they suddenly stop working. I have to delete and set up the whole thing again for it to work. I have stopped using it now as it was getting very irritating. Any solutions for this? Should I try altering facial expressions?
Make sure your eyes are wide open, face detectors don’t work when eyes are not visible. Certain features might not be compatible with your new software update. In this particular situation, it is recommended not to use facial recognition.
A better security option might be pin or pattern. You can try going back to your old android software if you wish to continue using the feature. Half covered faces will also have a problem in getting recognized by your device so you might want to remove any scarves, strolls, etc. For hardware issues, try to take assistance from a professional as soon as possible. External issues are more common.
