Often while running processes we see that we are running out of ram space for an application we are running or hosting. If we temporarily need some extra ram for a process but only have removable media like pen drives, how can we solve our problem temporarily using pen drives?
Yes we can use our pen drives and flash drives to temporarily boost up ram availability if we follow the steps given below.
a) Format your pen drive and remove allfiles from it.
b) Right click on this pc or my computer and go to properties. From there navigate to advanced settings.
c) From the advanced settings click on the settings button of the performance menu.
d) As the performance windows comes up click on advanced options and you would find virtual memory option at the bottom.
e) From virtual memory options select the change option to select the drive you want to use as ram. Please keep in mind the capability of the processor to run the maximum size of ram. Following the above process we can solve the problem of running out ram space for some time.
