Error while scanning the hard drive by Ad-Aware 2008

Hi there,

When I use Ad-Aware 2008 anti-spyware to scan the hard drive, an error occurs.  An error message appears and says the definition file is missing.  Please find the following screenshot of the message for your reference.

Could any expert help me to solve the error please?

Error while scanning the hard drive by Ad-Aware 2008

Hello Davis,

I think you are scanning your drive for spyware but the Anti Spyware feature of the application (Ad – Aware 2008) was not totally installed. I mean it doesn't carry any definition database that is what error shows, If the application itself don't have knowledge about the spyware how could it scan and detect them. The suggestion given should be followed that is an update your software.
