Hi,
I upgraded my Outlook 2007 to Outlook 2010. Given that I am running Google Calendar, I want to sync my calendar through Outlook. With Outlook 2007, I was able to use the Google Calendar Syncapplication. But after installing Outlook 2010, the organization of the calendar didn’t work anymore. It was messed up. And while synchronizing, I get this error message:

Google Calendar Sync supports Microsoft Outlook 2003 and 2007 only. Your version is 14.0.0A760

Error synchronizing Google Calendar with Outlook 2010
Hey Simmon!
Basically Google Calendar only work with Microsoft Outlook 2003 and 2007, that’s why you are facing this problem. Till now Google Calendar is not compatible with Microsoft Outlook 2010.
Obviously you cannot change your MS Outlook 2010, to make it compatible with Google Calendar Sync.
So we will change the version in executable file. You can use it as Beta, all functions may not be work but you can use it with MS Outlook 2010.
Note: First make sure you have backup executable file.
Here is a complete guide for you just follow these steps:
1. Open your MS Outlook installed folder (Default is C:Program Files Microsoft OfficeOffice14
2. Backup the main executable file (Outlook.exe).
3. Open any HEX editor. You can download it from internet

4. Drag the executable file (outlook.exe) of Outlook 2010 to the hex editor.
5. Open "find" in HEX editor by pressing Ctrl+F.
6. Here enter the vale 14.0.0 in the search box and find the value by pressing OK.
7. Once HEX editor found the value "14.0.0" you have to replace the "14" with "12".
8. Make sure that you have not press the Delete button to replace the values.
9. You just have to press the Shift key and select the "4" in "14" and press the "2" to make it "12".
10. You have changed the values now. Just save it and close HEX editor. If any message occur, ignore it.
11. Open your Google Calendar Sync. And start synchronizes it.
The results will not disappoint you.

Error synchronizing Google Calendar with Outlook 2010

Google calendar sync now supported outlook 2010. Their top feature request,.Outlook comes in 32-bit and 63-bit versions. To start sync your calendar with you outlook 2010,download Google calendar sync version 0.9.3.6. Once you installed it, a setting window will appear. Enters your account's email address and password,choose your sync option and sync frequently, and you're done (If you are already using Google calendar sync. You still need to download and install this new version in order to be able to sync with outlook 2010.
