Error showing file corrupted while opening file in Microsoft Excel 2010

Hi guys,

While opening a file in Microsoft Excel 2010 I got this error message. It is only claiming that the file is corrupted and unable to open it. What is the problem here I do not understand. Have a look at the error message below. What does it mean? If you have any idea regarding this issue, please help.

Good Day!

Try this steps!

 

1. Open Excel 2010.
2. Click on File > Options.

3. Select Trust Center > Trust center settings.

4. Select Protected view.
5. Uncheck all the options under Protected View > OK.

6. Restart Excel 2010 and try to open Excel documents.

Try to do the following workarounds stated below:

  1. Launch MS Excel 2010.
  2. Click File and then Options.
  3. Select the Trust Center tab and then click on Trust Center Settings button.
  4. Select the Protected View.
  5. Uncheck the entire options on the Protected View options and then click OK.
  6. Quit Excel 2010 and launch it again and try to open the file again.
