While I am working with the Spotify I got fed up with this error message. Literally I don’t understand anything from the error message. So I pasted the error image, please help me to find the problem. It used to work before the Spotify update, I crossed this authentication but now why I got this error message. Help me please. Your help is great. Thanks.
If you get this error it is probably because you got blocked by telia.dk and youl’l have to change your ip(restart router or change vpn).
remember only add working proxies into the proxy.txt
An error occurred working with Spotify
In case your IP address gets banned, here’s how you can still use and login to your Spotify account even if you are in a banned location. Start Spotify then go to Edit then Preferences. In Proxy section, pick either Socks4 or Socks5 in the dropdown menu. In Host and Port fields, enter the information from the country you selected in your profile or the time you signup.
For Username and Password fields, leave them blank. Scroll down and navigate to the bottom of the settings page and click Apply. After that, close and then restart Spotify. See if this works. If you encounter a problem, check if your firewall or antivirus is blocking the program. Make sure Spotify is added in the Exceptions list of Windows Firewall.
Also, add Spotify to the excluded programs of your antivirus so it won’t be blocked when you are using Spotify. You may also try using this IP address and port number in the settings in case you ran into a problem: 22.214.171.124:81. “126.96.36.199” is the IP address to be used in the Host field and “81” is the number to be inserted in the Port field.
If this doesn’t work, you may also visit Samair’s HTTP Proxy List and try other proxy numbers.
