Digital performer is a digital audio workstation/sequencer software. This software is installed in my computer running Windows 8. However on startup I get the following error in the image below. Any suggestions?

The file was created in a later version of Digital Performer and cannot be opened in this version. Try to save your file on another disk or folder, or with a different name.

An error occurred while writing to the disk. The file post-clone-test was not saved.

Hi Anthony

I have read your problem and it's not that serious problem. To fix this problem, from your Hard Drive, locate the hard drives root directory to find an invisible file called auth-digital performer and delete it.

To locate the root directory click Start click run type cmd. In the command prompt type cd c: then you will be directed to c:> then type DIR and you can see all the directories.
