Hello techyv,

Something wrong happens in my Bluetooth Acer desktop. Whenever I try to switch on the Bluetooth for my Acer desktop it does not detect at all and it is taking me in trouble when I want to send some photos from my cell phone to my desktop PC. I am just wondering what the problem is and why it is unable to detect my mobile phone.

I hope you experts will help me to get rid of this problem and help me in transferring data from cell phone to computer.

Thanks in advance.

Hello! Good Day!

Did  you turn on the Bluetooth of your mobile phone?

Try also to check the Bluetooth's setting on your mobile phone. Make sure that your phone's visibility is turned on or it should be "Shown to all". Maybe your phone's visibility was not turned on or wasn't shown to all that is why your computer cannot detect your mobile phone.

Hope it helps!

Hello Lindsay,

I hope your laptop and phone Bluetooth is set to visible mode.

If you are still getting a problem, download the Bluetooth driver from Acer official website and install it.

After installation, restart your computer and try to pair it again.

Hope this would work fine.

Hi there,

Please check your computer’s Bluetooth device is turning on and off whenever you try to does so by pressing the buttons. If this procedure does not work than please follow the steps.

1.       Uninstall the driver.

2.       Restart the computer.

3.       Reinstall the driver.

4.       Now update all the drivers.

5.       Now again restart the computer.

If this device is still do not work than your computer’s Bluetooth device is damaged. Otherwise check that your phone cell’s Bluetooth is on or not! If that shows ON and it is not working than it is also possible that your phone cell’s Bluetooth is damaged.

Thank you,

Riley weaver.
