I’m running Fedora 10 and have been trying to get Xen working VM supervisor hasn’t been able to find the hypervisor and I receive the following message :

Error:

Error determining default hypervisor
Could not populate a default connection. Make sure the appropriate virtualization packages are installed (kvm, qemu, etc.) and that libvirted has been restarted to notice
the changes.

A hypervisor connection can be manually added via
File >Add Connection

I have tried to start a connection manually, but it hasn’t worked, wish I can find the answer her.

Error Determining Default Hypervisor on Running Fedora 10

When working on Xen working VM supervisor then an error message is pop-up when trying to set-up connection then the possible issue here is that it's not supported in this version.

The steps below are the solution to this issue.

Go to File and Add a connection, when connecting to Fedora 10 KVM host.

Choose QEMU/KVM as Hypervisor, Remote tunnel over SSH as your connection in Fedora 10. Type server1.example in the hostname or set-up an IP address 192.168.0.100 of Fedora 10 KVM host.

Click connect and click OK. It'll ask for password of Fedora 10 KVM host. vm10 will be running, mark it as guest and click the open button to access the console. Type the password for KVM and you should be able to connect to the graphical console. The Debian  installer then will guide you through.
