Error code when installing Google+

I have purchased a Google Nexus phone running on Android Kitkat  and whenever I try installing the Google + app, I get a 505 Unknown application error. What steps can I use to solve the problem? Since the issue occurs frequently, how do I tell if it is an android problem or a defect with Google Nexus phone models?

Error code when installing Google+

Hello, this is a known issue for Nexus after user upgrades to Lollipop. This error also occurs to other applications aside from Google Apps. The issue is caused by incompatibility of the applications built in Adobe Air–running in the Lollipop version. At the moment, there is no solution for this issue but to wait for a newer OS update.
