Error 2205 when trying to download from internet

Hi good day,

When I try to download anything on the Internet, error code 2205 keeps coming up saying, "internal error 2205". I tried to system restore my computer for months but no success. I tried downloading on different browsers but still the same result comes up.

I have a windows XP 32 bit and I didn't install anything else for the past few months. Please help.

Error 2205 when trying to download from internet

1) Run Antivirus scan

2) Run Reginout Scan whilst accessing your machine in Safe Mode.

Error 2205 when trying to download from internet

After reading your problem I think I can solve the problem you are facing. Basically,this is a temporary virus attack, so what you have to do is, install a good Antivirus or Internet security (Kaspersky ). Preferably in your computer. Now please install it and do a complete scan of your computer.

After completing, hopefully some viruses will be caught. If not, try using the browser again. If the problem still persists, then please reinstall Windows XP in your computer again. After doing that, please reinstall the Antivirus which you have downloaded and may be the problem won't be there.

To download an Antivirus please visit CNET and all the necessary information will be available there.

This kind of error (Error 2205) comes about when the system is not configured properly or some of its important and essential files are missing. This type of problem occurs when the system is not maintained properly and has been facing or faced many system troubles before which needs repairing as early as possible.

Your problem can be solved. You can follow the following instructions to solve your issue:

• You need to download Error 2205 Repair Tool.
• Then you should install and run it.
• With the program, you need to perform a scan and repair the errors that are found. Then you have to fix the problems that were found.
