Error -201168 occurred at Reserve Chassis

Hi,

My Measurement & Automation Explorer has encountered a problem. I received an error message while reserving my chassis. It is indicating some error regarding reserving of chassis. Have you any idea for the error code 201168?  Please help.

Error

The chassis could not be reserved. The error report from the device driver is as follows:

Error -201168 occurred at Reserve Chassis

Possible Reason(s):

Firmware for this device is too old.

Update the firmware for this device.

Hi Martin Thompson,

This issue occurs because there is a version incompatibility between the firmware and the software installed on your computer. Or you upgraded your software but have not yet the firmware. Just upgrade your firmware and everything will be fine.

Hi,

There are chances of these kinds of errors if the Firmware is not updated. Please check whether you are using the latest version of the application. If not, please download and install the latest version. You can upgrade the firmware also. To upgrade, please visit the official website and make sure you are downloading a genuine version.

If updating does not fix the issue, try resetting the application’s setting on your computer. This should fix the issue.
