There is an application that you can use in sorting different files in your Macintosh computer.

You can use Hazel.

With this program, you can automate the task of copying, moving, or deleting files in different folders on your Mac.

To get started with the program, you need to select a folder or directory in which you want to apply rules to.

When Hazel is installed, open it then click on the plus “+” sign at the bottom-left corner of the program. Navigate to Home folder then open the Desktop folder. You should see the Desktop icon appear in the Folders section.

For the rest of the instructions, you may visit here.

Visit to download Hazel. This program works with Mac OS X 10.6 and later.
