Hello!
I have a concern with my computer. Last week, I tried to load www.pnc.com in my browser and then I got an error message saying “Error 118 (net: err_connection_timed_out)". I don’t face this problem with other websites. So I was wondering if there’s anything wrong with my computer. I haven’t tried to change any setting though. I hope you can help me to fix this.

It seems you have a host problem by that time, because when I now open "https://www.pnc.com/en/personal-banking.html" the site seems good, no errors on it. Another solution is to clear your browsing history and try to remove download history if you are using Google Chrome. If you are using Internet Explorer kindly click to start > a control panel network and internet connection > internet options. Delete all Cookies, Files and Clear History. Try to reinstall your browser if you still are encountering this error.

Please follow these steps to remove the error:
1. Open Google Chrome,
2. Click on “Customize and control Google Chrome Icon”,
3. Click on Settings,
4. Go to options settings,
5. Than locate Network,
6. Click on Change Proxy Settings,
7. A new window will open as per the below image,
8. Click on LAN settings,
9. Uncheck “automatic delete settings”.
10. Open your desired website again and the error shall not appear.
