Error 0x80070021 on NIS 2012

I am running Windows Vista SP1 and Norton Internet Security 2012. I was using the 2011 version and was recently updated to 2012. After scanning, it found one issue but I noticed that everything under the computer tab in Settings is grayed out. And then it shows “Error 0x80070021”. I posted the screenshot below. What should I do next?

Error 0x80070021 on NIS 2012

There is nothing to worry about. That error is within Norton Internet Security 2012. It has a built-in error-reporting mechanism that automatically submits a report whenever it encounters this problem. The error is then analyzed by Symantec after receiving the error report. That error is very light and will not affect the ability of the antivirus in monitoring your system. Not unless you encounter a different kind of error which requires you to ask for support. If your computer has a constant internet connection, the error report will automatically be sent the next time it updates. Of course, you should enable Norton Internet Security 2012’s Automatic LiveUpdate option so the antivirus can regularly update its components and virus definitions including the error report that you see.
