Entourage EWS and Outlook 2011 delays in Mac

We have a situation in our workplace whereby the Mac clients that are using Entourage and outlook are having delays when receiving some mail unlike their counterparts who are using regular computers. The delays usually range from a few hours to even a whole day. The mac users run either Entourage EWS or Outlook 2011 and they are few in number. The strange thing is that no delays occur at all when receiving that particular mail in their iPhones via OWA. Not even deleting and reconfiguring their Outlook and their Entourage accounts eased the situation. Someone please help me correct this situation as it is having a negative impact on our company’s performance.

There has been a known issue regarding the slow or delayed email on Entourage and Outlook on MAC computers. The main cause of the problem is that the TCP connection is dropping, This has been fixed as per their knowledge base https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2449266/ews-drops-the-tcp-connection-to-the-ews-client-application-without-any. You can try to download and install the update on Exchange 2010 SP1 RU6 to be able to fix and resolve this issue. You can go here for that http://update.microsoft.com. You can also try to update it manually by going to Start > Settings > Control Panel > System > Automatic Updates > Download the updates.
