Display full of dots while trying to reboot kubuntu in Win7

Hi experts,

I am a fresher in kubuntu. Until now, I haven't used kubuntu, but now, I want to use kubuntu.

I am using windows 7. I have installed it by using wubi, but when I tried to reboot, then it froze on log off display for a long time.

Then I turned off the PC and when I turn it on again and went into the kubuntu partition, I find a display with full of dots.

Then I had to force turn off again and then go into Win7.

This time, I tried to re-setup, but it shows some error message at start. I have tried to discover uninstall from the control section, but unfortunately, it’s not there and I cannot find any way to remove the partition.

Please help me to solve this.

Thanks in advance.

I have faced the same problem before when I tried to remove the Kubuntu partition. I searched the problem but I did not find any good solution. Then I tried to resolve the problem. I understand your problem. I think you need to re-install your Windows 7 operating system. At the time of re-stalling just remove the Kubuntu partition. Thanks.

Hello

Installing using wubi sometimes can be tricky since wubi makes folder on your NTFS partition so you are actually running virtual Kubuntu. I advise you to fully install your Kubuntu, that way your Kubuntu will get his own partition on ext4 file format so it will be no errors once you do that.

Cheers.
