I was using Nero disc burner when out of the blue, a dialogue box popped up. It bore the message Nmindexstoresvr.exe error has occurred. How can I disable this error for eternity?

Nmindexstoresvr.exe is a component of Nero Scout which acts as a catalog for media files. It scrutinizes the changes occurring to folders and files as well as indexes new entry. It runs in the background while you are doing other things on your system. It can use a big chunk of CPU resources.

So, it is prone to error when the optimum resources are not available. You can disable by disabling Nero Scout from task manager. Sometimes, malware or virus can also camouflage as Nmindexstoresvr.exe. If you suspect that the viruses have intruded your system, check the location of Nmindexstoresvr.exe. There may be an unsolicited file at the location. Don’t delete it but scan using antivirus tools.
