Did anyone know how to uninstall a RAM Disk(QSoft)?

I have a HP 9700 PC with windows XP Installed. I already install a RAM Disk (QSoft). But unfortunately I can’t change its size. Now I want to uninstall it. But windows give me error. It said I can’t uninstall the RAM Disk. I try windows safe mode but same error come. Can anyone tell me how can I uninstalled a RAM Disk. Thanks in advance.

  • There are two methods for uninstall Ram Disk (QSoft) in Windows XP.

Method 1:

1.  Right click on My Computer and select ‘Properties’.
2.  Then select ‘Hardware’ and click on ‘Device Manager’ button.
3.  Expand ‘RAM Drive’ and select ‘RAM Drive’ and click right mouse button.
4.  Select ‘Uninstall’ and just follow the instructions.
5.  After complete the process of uninstall, just reboot your system.

Method 2:

When we start the computer a error message show in front of us which is called “Blue screen”. This is the RAM problem either the RAM is unserviceable able or the not connected with motherboard correctly.

If you want to remove the RAM by “QSoft” you will edit its scripts. There will be a file RAMdriv.sys. If you want remove the RAM you should rename this file or delete
