I have a Dell computer which i use at home and i wanted to hook it up on a wireless internet. I was wondering if there is a dell wireless utility for win 7 operating system?

Is your computer a laptop? if it is then you don't have a problem. You can connect to the internet via its WiFi Connection.
If it is a desktop then you cannot connect it to the internet directly. You have to buy a WiFi Adapter. There are many of those in the market now. It can be a WiFi PCI Card (Inserted in the PCI slot inside your system unit), or the most common used now is an USB WiFi adapter.
I suggest the USB WiFi adapter. It isn't that expensive. And it is very handy, you can bring it any where. Once you have it, install its driver (for some it is plug and play, you don't have to install their driver). Then you can connect now to the internet wirelessly.
