I have a old desktop PC. In which I use a CRT Dell monitor. The warranty period is expired. It have a brightness problem. When I use maximum contrast and maximum brightness I saw the desktop screen not so bright. Is there any solution or software by which I can take more brightness?
LCD is better than CRT Monitors because of its brightness, Â if you are using under normal light the LCD will work more efficiently, CRTs are better if you use your computer in dark. Both the technologies have pros & cons.
Anyhow the solution for your problem is that you check your monitiors Brightness and contrast buttons, are they working perfectly or you need to fix the buttons.
Check the display setting of your computer and keep the contrast of your monitor to minimum and parallel increase the brightness , so you can make sure that the option are working properly.
