Create an escalation fails on BMC remedy developer studio

Hello

I am using the BMC remedy developer studio and trying to create an escalation. My support staff is set to NO and my "run if" qualifications are very simple. When I want to save ESC, I am met with an error. The screenshot of the error is attached below:

 

I have tried doing this by inserting a parenthesis and also after removing it but unfortunately in both cases I get the same error. I also searched the knowledge base of BMC but even there no solution was found.

If someone knows the reason behind this, please let me know.

Hi,
   This is a very common error and is often faced when you try to produce the code in a compiler application.

The possible causes of this error can be that you accidently placed the opening parenthesis somewhere earlier to his point in your code.
manually search and remove them this error will be gone!

In case the problem persists please paste a screenshot of the program producing error.

It looks as if this is indentation problem. You need to look at this in detail. There is one genuine problem that is looking quite clear out here. You must have places the open parenthesis somewhere in the beginning of the code and this is creating the problem. Since you have the opening parenthesis then you should also have the closing parenthesis as well. Else you are going to find the problem like this one. Check for the opening parenthesis and remove it from there.
