How can you control the iPod Shuffle (3rd generation) using the remote control?
There are only three buttons – volume (+ and -) and the clicker at the center.

Controlling the Third-Generation iPod Shuffle using Remote Control
Hi Lillian,
Unlike the other models of the shuffle iPod there are only the tree buttons on the 3rd generation iPod shuffle. The remote buttons includes three buttons – volume up, volume down, and a clicker in the center.
For the music controls

The volume up and down buttons are pretty self-explanatory. You can adjust the volume by these buttons.
And by the center button :Â

Single click: play/pause the music.

Double click: skip to next track.

Triple click  to skip previous track.
