Whenever am reading text from vb6 OCX especially if the rtf text has some tables using the UP TO function, the control tends to freeze, what could be the problem?

That is probably an issue with the application itself. If you have made changes to it lately for instance upgrades or updates then those are the ones that might be causing the issue that you are getting. You might need to downgrade it to the old version you had and see of that will resolve the issue.

The problem might be the OCX. Try to run that program to another system and see if it freezes up again. If it does, try to find an updated version of that OCX or try to find a replacement for that OCX. If not then the problem might be the function. Try to debug it.
