I've got a smart phone that isn't able to connect on a public Wi-Fi and there is no error log. What should I do to know what exactly the problem?

Hello Abel,
I have read your concern regarding WiFi connection. You’ve stated that you are using a smart phone to connect a public WiFi and you are not able to connect even if there’s no error at all and want this fixed. Is it right?
First of all, not all public WiFi are for everyone’s use (not literally defined). There are public WiFi that needs approval from the server computer. To assure that you did the right thing in connecting to WiFi, follow these few steps to configure your smart phone.
Since you have not stated what kind/type of smart phone you have, just locate these settings on your phone because each smart phone has different location for configuration of network.
– Check whether your Wifi is “ON” if not, then turn it on
– Once turned ON, options will pop-up if a WiFi network is available in your area. “SELECT” a network then choose connect.
Though some of the networks require a password then you will ask for it in the administrator. If password is acquired, you may now be able to connect anytime you get near of the same signal.
I hope I am in the right track of understanding your concern and gave you a hand to fix the problem. I hope this information is of good help.
Good Luck!
Regards,
Mali
