And when my server crashed accidentally, how can I reinstall Exchange when my Active Directory is still active? What is the type of the connector that I can use to connect to the internet and how I can send mails through that connector? Lastly, in Exchange, what are the methods to connect with Active Directory? I hope  someone can help me as your replies will be very useful to finish my project. Thank you.

Hi friend,

You can connect Exchange server 2007 with Active Directory if your Active Directory and Exchange server 2007 is fully functional. Then you can establish communication between Exchange servers 2007 and Active Directory. The communication information stays on configuration partition of Active Directory. You have to reconfigure it for adjust with Exchange server 2007.

You also have to configure SMTP connector for this occasion. And you also have to configure global address list (GAL) as it looks in Exchange server 2007 requirements. And also have to configure Exchange server 2007 and its recipients SMTP domain. Now you can Exchange server 2007 with Active Directory.
