Compatibility Issues on Roxio PhotoSuite 8 Installation

My wife is using Roxio PhotoSuite 8 for many years now which comes with her camera. We have recently installed Windows Vista in our computer. Now when we restarted our PC, the following error message appears: "This driver is blocked due to compatibility issues. A driver is installed that causes stability problems with your system.

This driver will be disabled. Please contact the driver manufacturer for an update that is compatible with this version of Windows.” Does this software cannot be installed in Windows Vista computer?

I have uninstalled PS5 from my Windows Vista since it is not compatible.

But this message is repeatedly appearing again and again. I will appreciate any help!

Compatibility Issues on Roxio PhotoSuite 8 Installation

For the version of the drivers of the Roxio Photosuite 8 application that you are using, you will be required to remove the Network threat Protection features, because they are the ones that are probably causing the error to occur.

For you to remove the network protection features you will do it as follows:

• On your computer, you will need to go to the control panel.
• And then you will choose Add/Remove programs under the program features.
• There you will need to do a repair which should involve changing the install features there.

If the error persists, you will need to contact the support admin for that application and let them help you to fix it.

Hi,

Sol. 1:

Software which you want to install isn’t compatible in vista platform.

That means sufficient drivers are not present in Vista OS.

So you have to update OS. Updating driver you may get rid of this problem.

1. Turn on your windows  update

2. Check CD recording software or that’s related things.

Sol. 2:

1. Try to reinstall the software

It may work.
