Hi guys,

A problem installing k lite codecs. I think there is a compatibility problem between the k lite codecs and the windows 7 64 bit operating system of my computer desktop. My windows media player is asking for some codecs, when I installed the codec it crashes and never continue the installation process.

Expecting some help, thank you.

Hi,

No, there is no compatibility issue between K Lite Codec and Windows 7 64 bit operating system. What I understand; you are not installing the latest version of K Lite Codec which is 9.6.5 released on 24th December. Please install this from the link given below:

I hope it will solve your problem. If not then it means some files of your Windows Media Player are corrupted; most probably the corrupted registry files. You can use any registry cleaner which will solve your problem and the last option is to reinstall the Windows Media Player and then install the K LIte Codecs from the link given above.
