Where to get a Java inventory management example?
I would like to get some reference or basis for my own Java programming inventory management for a department store.
A system that will take charge of a fast way of checking the inventory, I am putting up a business so I have to get some software that will help me with this.

Here are a few sites that provide examples of programs for inventory management. Hope that these helps.
1. Sourceforge.net has a lot of free downloadable applications for inventory in java languages. The program sample applications are suitable for ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and some are just for CRM (Customer Relationship Management). Most of the programs are web based and user friendly.
2. Java-Source.net also provides numerous inventory management programs for small and medium sized firms. You can select among the sample given on the site that fits your needs and matches your requirements.
3. Compare Business Products has list of top 10 Open Source solutions for CRM businesses. Best thing is that they provided analysis of each solutions on the list so its easy to know whether it meets your requirements or not.
4. Google Code has this Open Source Inventory Management System project You can check out the site and the program so you can compare it with yours. For non-members of the site, the program is set to read-only.
5. Lastly, Software Topic Informer has downloadable applications for inventory management in java language as well. You select among the programs on the list. Again, this is an open source.
