Brayan Leonfried,

Hello,

This error is caused due to invalid entries in windows registry, low disk space, some hardware in use by system is incompatible, system files are deleted by mistake or due to malicious application like Trojan, virus, etc., the companionlink.exe process running on the system is either damaged or repaired. This can be solved in various ways.

One is by running Companionlink.exe Error Fix Tool which can be downloaded from net. Download the tool, install, launch and click on Repair to get the issue fixed once the scan is completed.

Secondly, open the task manager >> Processes tab, and check for any process that is covering 100% of CPU usage and kill it.

Another way is to find out if any program is not completely installed, remove the program or reinstall.

This could happen because of an error at the installation. Try to uninstall it and install it again. If the problem remains perhaps the problem is the.Net optimization Centre. So, click "start", "run" and write cmd and then "Ok". Then type cd and enter. After that type cd Windows/ Microsoft.Net/ Framework/ dotNetVersion and enter. I am sure that this process will solve your problem.
