I have this error message atidvag , that keeps appearing any every time I run a new sims 2 game on my computer. I acquired the Sims 2 and the Sims 2 University installed but Pets and Dark spirit set and freeze my computer and then I get the atidvag nonachievement content speech that "The file is damaged" or something along those lines.
Any suggestion please?

Atidvag is actually related to your video card. Your computer is probably using an ATI video card.
It could simply be that the video card cannot handle the game. Have you checked the game specs for all the packages you added?
You can run a dxdiag to check. Just go to start, click on run and type in DxDiag.
If we’re sure that your game and packages are still compatible with your video card then it’s best to fix the driver.
Just go to the Device Manager. Under the Display adapter you’ll find the ATI adapter.
Just right click and choose uninstall.
It would ask you to restart the computer twice as it will automatically reinstall the driver.
