Clone CD Not Compatible with the CD Writer

I got a medium risk error with Clone CD. It also said that the Clone CD is not compatible with the CD writer. When I started to write file on a CD, it worked fine at first. Then after writing several files, this “Medium Risk Error” popped up and writing did not even finish. I’ve tried it using four different CD’s already but all is just wasted. Then when the incompatibility error appears, the computer needs to be restarted before the CD is accepted by the Clone CD. I’m so confused now. Please help me how to fix this.

Clone is if you are making a copy like thing form other CD then this feature is used to copy one CD to the new CD. I don't know why you are using this feature if you are using some program to make a clone the you first need to specify the CD drives in it if you have multiple CD rooms. If you have not this feature then just use copy these files to CD OR write these files to CD. Make sure that your CD writer is working properly. Use a program that best supports your computer and your CD writer speed. Write files only by a valid program or by a valid window application. If you are using the CD burner tools or like this then make sure that you are using a valid paths and you have all the things done with your CD.

Hello Abigail,

To avoid getting that error you will need to make sure that there is no media in the drive when you start CloneCD. Also make sure that the CD drive does not have issues, or the clone CD itself for they may be the ones causing the issues that you're getting right now.

Regards,

Carl
