Hello,

I want to sell my android for iPhone.  I have already backed up my files. How do I completely erase all the data on my android?  I want to make sure all my passwords are not save secretly somewhere.

 Thanks.

  • On iPhone, Click the Settings application, and then select the option  “General”.
  • Next, scroll all the way to right up to the bottom and until the option “Reset” is found. There could be more choices, but then in order to have all your personal data deleted, please select the  option “Erase All Content and Settings”.
  • Cross checks if the battery power is full recharged so that there would be any interruption while deleting the data. In case of Android, Navigate to the menu and select the option “Settings” followed by the option “Privacy”.
  • Next the option “Factory Data Reset” would be available, which has the ability to clear all personal information. Please note that in case of Android devices even after deleting the information, some fragments can remain due to the fact operating system can leave bits and pieces of things.
  • Some functionalities and features which work on android model may not work and could have strange impacts on another device.
  • It's also suggested to double check that everything has been erased with regards to your personal information.
