I heard that there is a way to calibrate and maintain iPhone 3gs battery. But I don't know properly about the calibration and maintenance. Is it helpful? Please, tell me in details.

Hi,
I will tell you how to calibrate manually. Calibrating the battery is very important because it helps to improve battery’s life. These batteries are lithium based batteries. So it is very important and need to move electrons in the battery occasionally. Therefore you need to calibrate once a month. But no more than one. This is very important and keeps this in your mind.
You can do this very easily. This has only 3 steps.
1.      Reset your iPhone. Please press and hold the sleep/wake button and the Home button simultaneously. You can do this when your iPhone is started to reset. Keep doing this when your screen goes to black. Then you can see the Apple logo is appeared.
2.      Now discharge your device. When the battery reaches a minimum level your iPhone will turn off automatically.
3.      Final step is charge your battery until it fully charges. That’s all
