Chrome always stop in the middle of my browsing

Hi!

Please help me with my application issue in Chrome. After my computer was not properly shutdown due to power failure, my Chrome generated an error message in the middle of my work. I already reinstalled the application once. Thanks a lot.

chrome.exe – Application Error

The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005). Click on OK to terminate the application.

Hello,

Hope, this will solve your problem.

 

The issue you are facing is a security issue. I wish I know what antivirus you are using because you did not mention it. This issue is caused because of sandbox, an additional security feature of Google Chrome.

 

Follow these steps and let me know if these work:

 

1) Right click on the shortcut of Google Chrome.

 

2) In the target box write "–no-sandbox" without the quotes.

 

3) Apply and OK.

 

I think that will solve your problem and you will get no more error messages.

You may also try uninstalling Google Chrome from your computer then check your system for any possible errors. Use a disk utility application to check the system. For a much thorough diagnostics on the system, use a disk utility application like PC Tools Performance Toolkit, Norton SystemWorks, or Norton Utilities. After the disk check, install again Google Chrome or you may download the latest version.

You should not have any incompatibility problem with this web browser because it supports Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7 operating systems. Reinstalling the web browser will help fix any corrupted files in the previous installation and will restore the settings back to default.
