CDBurnerXP : Burning error occurred

Hi,

DVD burning becomes a tragedy for me. Recently I have upgraded my system from XP to Windows 7. Consequently I have updated all the software. But when I try to burn DVD the following error occur and the disk become ruin. I don't know why it's happening. I am using latest versions of all software. Would you please know me the solution?

CDBurnerXP : Burning error occurred

I have never experienced this while I'm burning with my DVD writer. It is hard to determine what the cause of the failure here is. Maybe it’s the DVD writer that malfunctioned while the burning process is ongoing. Or maybe it’s the poor quality of the DVD disc that failed from burning the data.

But if you will analyze the error that is generated by the Windows XP CD burner, the error occurred while closing the disc. Which means that the burning of the data is already finished and it is in the process of terminating the burning procedure by closing the disc when the error occurred. Maybe you are using a generic DVD disc that’s why you failed to burn the disc. Next time avoid buying cheap DVD discs that can easily be bought in any computer shops. Buy just the average priced discs.

CDBurnerXP : Burning error occurred

Your CD might not be a blank disc anymore or it isn't rewritable you should have check carefully the inserted disc to determine if the disc is already used or not. Try another disc and make sure that it is available for burning once

Now if the burning process still gives you the same error then I suggest that you try and reinstall the software or you can try another burning software such as Nero Burning Software. It is a good burning software that can burn almost anything like Music CD, Video Disc playable on DVD players and even file burning is available using this software.
